Restoration projects

“Education is for improving the lives of others and for

leaving your community and world better than you found it.”

–  Marian Wright Edelman, Founder of the Children’s Defense Fund

It’s an honor to be working with impressive educational foundations, schools, universities, and establishments for important building restoration projects. We not only value our incredible community partnerships but also the critical role education plays in making our community stronger.

The many projects we’ve worked on–including universities, community colleges, and major school districts–have had a significant impact on the development and education of our vital citizens. Facilities include UC Berkeley, Chabot – Las Positas College, Community College SF, UC Hastings, UC Davis, San Mateo USD, SFUSD, Fremont Union HS District, and Alameda USD.

Because our clients require a building restoration services company that values their concerns, needs, hopes, and dreams for their active learning centers, we work diligently with our clients, listening, understanding, and taking pride in every step of our work as we realize this will instill a sense of pride among students, teachers, and the local community, fostering a conducive learning environment.

Embracing Our Community’s Educational Foundation

Building restoration services play a crucial role in preserving and strengthening educational institutions both inside and out. That’s why our core commitment to the community and educational and community clients is to ensure excellence in all areas of commercial waterproofing and restoration in the San Francisco Greater Bay Area. We never waver from our values, and the results are displayed in our outstanding work throughout Northern California.

Various universities, community colleges, and school districts we have served include:

  • UC Berkeley–one of Rainbow’s landmark building restoration projects. Rainbow went the extra mile so that the community can appreciate and enjoy the beauty and restoration of its site.
  • Chabot – Las Positas Community College which experienced roofing membrane and waterproofing work to restore and brighten this east bay site for its valued attendees.
  • The University of California, Hastings is known to be one of the top law schools in the nation. Rainbow completed work there to innovate and revitalize this fine establishment.
  • The University of California, Davis, a tier-one research university with public land-grant research serving as a leader in bridging the gap between agriculture and the environment.
  • San Mateo USD serves the Bay Area’s Peninsula cities of San Mateo, Burlingame, Foster City, Hillsborough, Millbrae, and San Bruno.
  • San Francisco USD–the seventh largest school district in California, established in 1851.
  • San Francisco City College, a project that consisted of structural masonry repairs over existing steel-frame and concrete-shear-wall construction. Brick masonry and terra-cotta pilaster caps were removed and replaced to expose existing structural steel framing, repair damages to existing steel columns and beams, remove existing rust exfoliation, and protect structural steel from future water damage.
  • Fremont Union HS District, a school division in California’s Silicon Valley. It provides services to Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Los Altos, San Jose, and Cupertino.
  • Alameda USD is a unified school district that appreciated Rainbow’s building construction and building restoration services.

Revitalizing educational establishments and building stakeholder trust extends to the community as a beautifying statement: We care deeply about Northern California education!

Ensuring a Values-First Customer Care Model

Restoration services help maintain the structural integrity of our community’s valuable educational establishments, ensuring that they remain safe, visually appealing, and welcoming for all involved.

Monthly project budget meetings with our essential educational clients allow Rainbow to make timely decisions, keeping the precise value of our building restoration services on point. While a low bidder may or may not deliver the level of service that Rainbow did for these efforts, Rainbow fulfills all requirements set by our valued community educational firms.

We work proactively to:

  • Ensure that all aspects of building restoration projects are outlined and agreed upon before starting jobs.
  • Practice safety precautions and utilize the best building restoration standards and practices on all projects.
  • Diligently plan for a well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing result that sends a positive message about the institution’s commitment to excellence–and ours.
  • Address the infrastructure of educational establishments such as any waterproofing, foundation, masonry, terra-cotta, or other issues.

In the process, Rainbow strives to create modern, functional, and inspiring spaces for students and educators and to maintain the splendor of historical sites and landmarks.

They didn’t just tell the client what they wanted to hear. Rainbow shared the best recommendations for the future of the establishment so that the client could make informed project decisions.”
