Welding new steel rebar components to existing rusted and deteriorated historic steel rebar, particularly at window perimeters and concrete-encased-steel-pilaster columns.
Project Details
The project consisted of the removal and replacement of all existing concrete spalls on the entire facade of the building exterior. Spall repairs varied from simple small concrete “pop off” repairs to full penetration of existing walls and columns. The majority of repairs were located on window perimeters and concrete columns.
