Biggest Challenge

The top 5-6 floors of the building are occupied by high end residential apartments. Each balcony required interior protections panels to be installed from inside the unit prior to beginning work on each balcony. This required careful coordination between Rainbow and the buildings engineering team throughout the duration of the project.

Project Details

  • Prep, prime and install new Tnemec high performance flournar coating at all balcony door frames, balcony railings and punch windows. (388 balcony door frames and railings + 1040 window frames)
  • Install Sikagard acrylic coating in two coats at every balcony.
  • Power wash, clean and perform misc. granite repairs on the building’s granite panel façade.
  • Additional building envelope repairs on the roof and 3rd floor terrace.
