Building façade maintenance

The San Francisco Building Facade Inspection and Maintenance Ordinance was signed and approved by Mayor Ed Lee on May 6, 2016.  This ordinance now requires building owners to inspect the facades of buildings five (5) stories or more on a periodic basis to identify any falling hazards and develop maintenance plans. Furthermore, building owners are required to report the findings from facade inspections of their buildings. The deadline for filing an inspection report is based on the age of the building.
Rainbow continues to provide building facade inspection and maintenance support services and access to owners, engineers and architects involved with these building facade inspections.
